Who’s Watching Out For YOU?

It’s  happens over and over again, to the point where you just can’t get rid of it, like hearing your mom ask you to turn the lights off or put your toys away. 

As a parent, I often remind my son to sit closer to the table and eat over his plate, watch where he puts his feet climbing up the tree in the park and be mindful of taking smaller bites so he can enjoy his food. All positive can do focused actions to support him in having the greatest experience possible! 

Am I perfect at it, HeLL NO! There are times when I can get all wound up, holding onto that one end of yarn until the sweater’s almost all gone! WHoH!! What happened there??

Somehow, I don’t feel I’m alone in this one.. We all spend our time seeing and hearing, touching and doing, eating and feeling, buying and talking and staying and going and … yes, thinking. Scientists say that the average human can have up to 70,000 thoughts a day ! Dang!

What do we think about ? The weather, what happened at work today, when is our Corona Virus check coming? The squirrels are eating the garden, the crap on my facebook feed is really getting to me, I payed too much at the grocery store as they messed up my order!…. 

So you’re watching so that nothing happens to the kid, the boss watches to make sure you’re doing it right and on time, Big Brother is watching you, yes, Mom is still making sure you  eat your vegetables and Dad is still talking about how you could have gotten a better deal on the house (that was six years ago..).

All eyes on YOU. Some want what they think is best, some are looking for your worst. When you really think about it… who’s watching out FOR YOU? 

Who gets to make sure that YOU take the right job and get the best deal on your apartment and and choose the right friends, eat the right foods and think the best thoughts? Who’s watching how YOU play with others what YOU tell yourself ?
