D is for Drunk

Dd

My friend told me that I was chronically hung over for 3 years. It was a strange thing to hear early on when you’re focused on recovering. I didn’t get upset. He was right. I was DRUNK for a long time. I started blacking out driving 4 km in a Mini one summer at 18. I was having so much fun that at 36, I was .. you guessed it… I was… still drunk. It was my favorite thing while it worked… for a long time. What a Disaster! Yet another D word that I highly identified with.

Developing yourself is the key to a better tomorrow. “Nothing Changes until YOU change”, said Mr Jim Rohn..  it’s not overnight. It takes stepping forward and doing something DIFFERENT, something DARING.
